Jean André (1986) is a graphic designer that works in Montmartre for, among others, Ed Banger, various magazines and some brands. Jean André likes to define his drawings as a sort of ” gentleman art “, halfway between charming illustrations and the simple highlighting of ladies’ beauty. His main influences range from Tom Wesselmann to the work of Matisse, Richard Kern’s photos or the men’s adventure magazines of the 50s. From minimalist to ultra-realistic, he seeks to explore all the opportunities offered by Indian ink.
